Can we talk about stop lights?

To be clear, if you are turning left at a stop light, get your ass out into the intersection. Don’t sit at the line and just wait for the next green light. When you do that, you’re screwing the person behind you. It is perfectly legal for two cars to clear the intersection and turn left after the light turns red. TWO.  I’m not sure why people have such a hard time grasping the traffic laws and more to the point, why they don’t care about expediency.

Many of us have stuff to do. In other words, we are trying to get from one place to another quickly and efficiently. If you’re scared of traffic, please stay the hell home! So many people have nowhere to be and all day get there. It’s so frustrating.

Law enforcement looks for speeders and people texting, but they should be ticketing people that slow down everyone else’s travels. 

The people whom slow the rest of us down cause us to speed in order to make up for the lost time getting stuck behind them as they cower at the light. (yeah, I’m going with that!) I wonder if this would work in traffic court. “Sorry your honor but this asshole wouldn’t make a left turn and it put me behind schedule!” I’m guessing not but I promise many people in the courtroom would be nodding their heads in agreement. End of rant and it’s the truth!
